Kids love before and after school activities! Clubs are a way to get children involved in our school community and explore new or favorite interests. This winter our Silverdale staff will host school clubs on Wednesday from 3:35-4:25 on February 11, 18, 25 and March 4, 11 and 18 and on Friday from 8:10-9:00 on February 6, 20, 27 and March 6 and 13 and April 3.

Space is limited. Clubs have a limited number of participants.

Online Forms due by Friday, January 16th.

You will receive confirmation of your acceptance into this club no later than Friday, January 23rd.

_____ Basketball Basics (Grades 3-5) Club Advisor: Mr. Rich

Wednesdays 3:35 - 4:25 ((2/11, 2/18, 2/25, ¾, 3/11 and 3/18) 

Want to brush up on your skills for the upcoming basketball season? Never played basketball before and want to learn? This club is for you! This club will focus on the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense. 

Materials Needed: Tennis Shoes


_____ Jewelry Making Club (Grades K-5) Club Advisor: Mrs. Ramey

Wednesdays 3:35 - 4:25 ((2/11, 2/18, 2/25, ¾, 3/11 and 3/18) 

Come make beautiful art and friends at the jewelry making club!


_____ Jump and Run (Grades 1-5) Club Advisor: Mr. Thoemke

Fridays 8:10 - 9:00 (2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13 and 4/3)

Come jump n' run and have some fun with Mr. Thoemke's Jump N' Run Club! If you like jumping rope and enjoy running...this club is for YOU!  Students will participate in a variety of jump rope games, long and short jump rope skills (students will make their own jump rope!), and fun runs that can be counted towards their PE running miles.


_____ Picture Book Adventures Club (Grades 1-5) Club Advisor: Mrs. Patnode

Fridays 8:10 - 9:00 (2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13 and 4/3)

Picture books can be so much fun to read! In this club we are going beyond the pages. We will read a picture book and then have an art or STEM activity that goes along with the book! Each week a new book and a new adventure! 


_____ Pottery Club (Grades 2-3) Club Advisors: Ms. Heaman & Mrs. Moye

Fridays 8:10 - 9:00 (2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13 and 4/3)

In this hands-on club, you’ll learn to mold and shape clay into amazing creations. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! Make new friends, explore your artistic side, and create awesome pieces to take home!
