Visit to the Public Library

3rd Graders Receive Library Cards
Posted on 02/28/2020

On February 20th, Silverdale 3rd Graders visited the Silverdale Public Library which is part of the Kitsap Regional Library.  Students were able to see how the library is organized.  They participated in treasure hunts,  read alouds, and some free exploration time.  They discovered many more activities to do at the library on top of checking out books.  Most importantly they received their very own library card!  This card will also give them access to research tools online through the library!   We thank Silverdale Library for this great opportunity and for teachers and parents supporting this field trip!  See pictures by visiting the photo gallery at the top of the site.
