Roving Robotics for 5th Graders

5th Grade Dives into Robotics
Posted on 02/23/2020

We had a joyous and busy afternoon participating in the robotic underwater vehicle pool day! Students were respectful of teachers, parent volunteers and engineers. I am so proud of kiddos that were able to make modifications and didn’t give up on their task! Way to go 5th grade!

A very special thank you to the following parents for helping out: Mr. Soares, Mrs. Frohm, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Pitman, Mr. Tonge, Mr. Robinson, Ms. Moore, Mr. Harris and Mr. Roark. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Students built and adjusted ROVs for 2 days.  On Feb. 3 they traveled to Olympic H.S. to trial their ROVs in the swimming pool. This is one of the highlights for 5th graders.  Visit the Photo Gallery (tab at the top of the site).  There are 3 albums to view more pictures of students in action!
